GROW YOUR PLANTS FASTER

When we talk about faster growth of plants the first and foremost thing that pop ups in our minds is fertilizers. Inorganic fertilizers provide immediate nutrients to plants and help them grow faster whereas Organic fertilizers take more time to react, but they create a healthier soil over time. If your motive is to grow your plant faster the major nutrient needed is nitrogen. Plants use more nitrogen than any other nutrient when they are growing. Nitrogen regulates the growth of stems and leafy green foliage. Feeding your plants with a fertilizer high in nitrogen promotes rapid growth in leaves and stems.

SEAWEED- THE UNIVERSAL FERTILIZER

ADVANTAGES
  • When we discuss about fertilizers, seaweed fertilizer is sure to top the list as it is filled with nutrients like nitrogen, phosphate, potassium and magnesium, these elements also lie in NPK fertilizer but what makes seaweed different is its 60 minerals which along with nitrogen are very valuable for the growing plants.
  • Seaweed fertilizer is composed of up to 1.2 per cent nitrogen, which it delivers to plant roots when used as a fertilizer. It also contains hormones to encourage plant growth. Unlike other garden amendments, such as manure, seaweed does not need to decompose before being a benefit to your garden.
  • It also prevents fungus and diseases from damaging your plant as it makes your plant strong enough to fight from these issues.
  • Other than fertilizer, seaweed can also be used as mulch. When used as mulch, seaweed helps in retaining moisture in the plant which in turn lowers the rate of watering.

HOW TO USE
  • Seaweed fertilizer comes in both liquid and granule forms. Granule form is a slow release fertilizer and helps growth in long run when compared with liquid fertilizer but if you want instant effects liquid one is the appropriate choice.
  •  Mixture of one ml liquid seaweed fertilizer in one litre of water can be used for fertilizing your bushes. You can either spray this onto your plant or also can feed your plant directly. For granule form, one teaspoon of it in approx. 10 inches pot will be the appropriate quantity.

Faster growth of plants depends on many factors but if you fertilize your plant regularly and properly, you are sure to have beautiful, attractive and healthy plants in the near future.
